Short version: your receipts never leave your phone.
Nothing. Boho Tip does not collect, transmit, or have access to any data about you or your device. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics SDKs, and no network requests of any kind.
If you tap Scan receipt, the app asks permission to use your camera or photo library so it can read a picture of your receipt. That image is handed to Apple's Vision framework, processed on your device to find the total, and then discarded — Boho Tip never saves the photo itself, and the image is never uploaded anywhere. You can decline camera or photo access entirely and still use every other part of the app by typing the bill in by hand.
If you unlock Boho Tip Pro and choose to save a receipt, the amount, merchant name, tip, and date are stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This never syncs to iCloud or to us — it stays on the device you saved it on. If you export your history to CSV, that file is handed to iOS's standard share sheet, and where it goes from there (Files, Mail, AirDrop, etc.) is entirely your choice.
The one-time Boho Tip Pro unlock is processed entirely by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your payment details, billing address, or Apple ID — Apple's own privacy policy governs that transaction, not ours.
Boho Tip doesn't share data with third parties, because it doesn't collect any to share. There are no embedded ad networks, analytics kits, or crash reporters.
Boho Tip is a general-audience utility that collects no data from anyone, including children. It is not directed specifically at children under 13.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version adds optional iCloud sync — this page will be updated and the "Effective" date above will change accordingly. Given how the app works today, we don't expect that to happen often.
